What happens when I make my online booking for a food tour?

When you complete your food tour booking on our secure website you will receive an automated order confirmation containing your food tour booking details and meeting point information.

The day I want to book doesn’t seem to be available. I see a call or email to book message. What does that mean?

It could be that the tour is sold out or that I don’t have a tour open for bookings. In both cases, you can send me an email here and I can see if I can open another departure for your booking.

Are walking tours held in bad weather?

All of our tours go ahead – rain, hail or shine! In the case of rain, we are able to go inside some of the tasting locations but an umbrella will help a lot, as we are mostly out and about during our walking around the market. I kindly ask you to look at the weather forecast and dress appropriately.


What is included in the price?

All food and drinks are included in the price. The only thing not included is gratuities and they are always greatly appreciated.

How do I cancel or reschedule my tour?

You can cancel or reschedule your tour by emailing me at hello@frenchxican.com. In some cases I’ll need to charge a rescheduling fee.

Are gift certificates available?

Travel gift certificates are available and make a wonderful present for anyone who is visiting Paris.

Can I book a private tour or class for my group?

Yes. I offer private group tours for groups of up to 6-10 people, and custom tours for groups of any size. All private tours are priced on application so please contact me for more information.

Do I have to book in advance? Can I just arrive and pay cash?

Tickets for all tours must be purchased on my website. Walk ups or cash sales are not accepted.
