About me
Bonjour! Hello! Hola!
I’m Silvia—a Mexican who came to France in 2008 and somehow ended up building a life, a business and a slightly unreasonable love affair with Paris.
Frenchxican is not a tour company with a collection of interchangeable guides. It is me. I personally create and host every experience, sharing the neighborhoods, markets, food and stories that have become part of my own life here.
I was born in Durango, Mexico, and lived in Rennes and Marseille before making Paris my home in 2010. I have also traveled through more than 35 countries, but the memories that stay with me are rarely the famous monuments or carefully completed checklists.
They are the meals, conversations, unexpected discoveries and people who made a place feel alive.
That is what I want to give my guests.
Yes, we eat—a lot. But I will also tell you why the neighborhood looks the way it does, what its streets have witnessed and which details everyone else is walking past. My groups are small because I want us to talk, laugh, ask questions and actually experience the city together.
If you are curious, hungry and want to understand the Paris around you, I think we will get along beautifully.
