Bonjour! Hello! Hola!
I’m Silvia, and Frenchxican is exactly what it sounds like: French and Mexican. It is the name I gave the hybrid identity that shapes both my life and the way I share Paris.
France has been my home by choice since 2008—first Rennes and Marseille, then Paris since 2010. I am also a citizen of the country I chose as home: after 18 years here, France is not simply where I live. It is part of who I am.
Frenchxican is not a tour company with a collection of interchangeable guides. It is me. I personally create and host every experience, sharing the neighborhoods, markets, food and stories that have become part of my own life here.
I was born in Durango, Mexico, and my curiosity has since taken me through more than 35 countries. Yet the memories that stay with me are rarely the famous monuments or carefully completed checklists.
They are the meals, conversations, unexpected discoveries and people who made a place feel alive.
That is what I want to give my guests.
Yes, we eat—a lot. But I will also tell you why the neighborhood looks the way it does, what its streets have witnessed and which details everyone else is walking past. My groups are small because I want us to talk, laugh, ask questions and actually experience the city together.
